Why did you choose RiverCrest?

Dan and I chose RiverCrest for our wedding venue after we had been to a friend’s wedding which was also held at RiverCrest, and we saw firsthand just how fabulous of a wedding the venue had created for the bride and groom! We also knew from that wedding that the food at RiverCrest is amazing, which was a very important component in the wedding planning process for us! Additionally, Dan hosts a client appreciation event at RiverCrest with his work team from Financial Voyages every year, so he also knew from experience that RiverCrest puts together great events. Every single person we worked with at RiverCrest helped us put together the wedding of our dreams from start to finish, and we could not be happier and more grateful for how everything turned out, thank you RiverCrest!

What is your favorite wedding moment?

During the wedding planning, Dan and I were extremely excited about having our band, RIO, perform and we knew all of our friends and family would love them and would dance the night away! But, in addition to the talented band, one of our favorite moments of the wedding was just simply the bride, Sarah, walking down the aisle (by the Bride’s mother, Maureen), seeing Dan at the end of the aisle, and holding hands as we were about to become husband and wife.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Dan and I chose Aruba for our honeymoon destination and we stayed at the Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort. It was the absolute perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation after more than a year of wedding planning!

Any advice to give future RiverCrest brides?

The biggest piece of advice we could give to future brides, and grooms, is to pick and book the biggest wedding components first, especially the venue! The second piece of advice we would give is give yourselves plenty of time to plan if possible, it helps ease the stress! And just remember that at the end of the day, the most important part of the whole wedding planning process is that you are marrying your soulmate and your partner for life. All of the little things of the planning will fall into place, just enjoy this time as much as you can with your spouse-to-be and with your family and friends!
