Why did you choose Rivercrest?

I started looking at venues with my parents before I was engaged.  My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I had been dating for 8 years so I knew a ring was coming soon and wanted to make sure I was able to get a date that I wanted at the perfect venue.  The goal for our wedding was a beach theme and having the ceremony outside between the rock wall waterfall and pool was the perfect fit.  Mary, wedding specialist, answered all of our questions and was extremely organized I knew I would be able to work well with her and she made sure all of our needs were met.  Walking into Rivercrest for the first time everything just felt right.  

A few other things I liked best about Rivercrest when comparing with other venues were – the bridal suite, bathrooms, staff, food, ballroom, and dance floor.

What is your favorite wedding moment?

My favorite wedding moment was seeing the finished product and of course seeing all family and friends in one location.

We had been planning this day since before I was engaged and seeing everything come together flawlessly was overwhelming – I loved every little detail.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We did not do a honeymoon yet but we are planning on going somewhere relaxing and tropical (possibly St. Lucia).

Any advice for future Rivercrest Brides?

I am very much an organized type A person who likes to be in total control.  The best advice I received that I am passing along is to enjoy your day and trust Rivercrest and your vendors to pull off the day perfectly without you having to stress.  All of the time and planning that goes into the wedding is exhausting and the day itself goes by so quickly.  I absolutely picked the best vendors and was communicating with everyone up until the morning of the wedding.  Everyone knew my vision and how I wanted the day to go so I didn’t need to worry about the day of details.

Mary did a great job of meeting with us throughout the process and took very detailed notes.  

On the night of the rehearsal we met with Mary and Konare (banquet manager) to go over all of the setup and logistics. 

For the wedding day my bridal attendant was Bernessa and she was available for whatever I needed.  During pictures she brought me water and even rushed to get my bouquet when I almost forgot it for the walk down the aisle.

Rivercrest is the absolute best <3
