Was there anything that you were stressed about that you now realize you didn’t need to be?
I was so stressed about the timeline! But, it ALWAYS falls into place. Our church ceremony somehow ran late. We didn’t think we would have enough time for pictures, cocktail hour and more indoor photos…but it all worked out. Everyone is so good and kind and will do anything for you to make the night special.

Why did you choose RiverCrest?
I had a big wedding guest list and needed a space for close to 300 people. I heard raving reviews about the food, which was very important to us. When we saw the space for cocktail hour, the number of bars, and how huge the dining space and dance floor was, we knew this was that place to have our reception. It’s such a beautiful, classy and CLASSIC reception venue. There were also little details such as the included uplighting that was a selling point as well. I loved how they included a favor for everyone and we didn’t have to worry about it! So many little details that were the deciding factor. RiverCrest is well worth every penny spent.

Any advice to give future RiverCrest couples?
This is the best venue. Dan and I were absolutely elated by the service of our planner/coordinator Michele as well as the entire RiverCrest team the night of our wedding. The food is incredible. The space is stunning. Take many moments throughout the night with each other to step back and soak it all in. My husband pulled me aside a couple times and we just took it all in. That is SO important. We had so many people at our wedding (260) and it was very overwhelming. I also highly recommend hiring a videographer. Trust me, you’ll want to look back because there are a lot of things you will miss or many people you won’t have time to talk to.

What is your favorite wedding moment(s)?
For both Dan and I, we loved our first dance. All of our guests surrounded and stood around the dance floor as we had our first dance together. We also did something a little unconventional, but I recommend. We invited our guests on the dance floor for about 20 minutes to get them pumped up after our first dance! The we proceeded with toasts speeches, father/daughter and mother/son dances, dinner, etc.
We loved the cake cutting moment too. Our cake was brought in the middle of the dance floor half way through the night. Our cake smashing was AWESOME.
Favorite cake flavor: Almond Chocolate Chip (Master’s Baker in West Chester, PA) https://www.facebook.com/themastersbaker
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Aruba and stayed at Riu Palace Antillas. We absolutely LOVED it. It’s an all inclusive, adult only resort. The workers are SO nice and kind. We want to go back.
One special touch that we usually don’t mention in our blog, but under the circumstances…
Signature Drink: Manhattan (Called “Jackhattan” after my late father.)
