Why did you choose RiverCrest?
We looked at a few different venues in the area and comparatively we liked the feel of RiverCrest when we walked in. It didn’t hurt that the dance floor is huge as we knew we would have a lively crowd. When we first visited RiverCrest, we were working with Dawn and she was great and there was no drop-off in service when Michele took over. We also liked the all-inclusive pricing for each guest. It made it much easier for us to plan and compare costs.
What was your favorite wedding moment?
Walking down the ceremony aisle and turning around to see everyone we care about and love looking back at us was a pretty powerful moment.
Also, Our first dance was literally our first dance, so when Konare was getting us ready for our introductions, we were figuring out how we were going to dance behind the closed doors. Then, opening the doors to the reception and seeing the room and our family/friends was pretty incredible.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Thailand…and had a blast!
Any advice to give future RiverCrest couples?
The RiverCrest team will help guide you through the decision and timing of the wedding and they helped keep us organized. They have a great vendor list, so take advantage of it if you don’t know where to start. Once your wedding day comes, just be in the moment and let the RiverCrest planners, managers, servers, etc run the show. They coordinated perfectly with all of the other vendors and let us and our guests enjoy the evening with no worries. The entire staff received lots of compliments from our guests, so please pass that along. Bottom line…the RiverCrest team are creative, professional, and a pleasure to work with…let the professionals do what they do best and you can’t go wrong!
